Our space hosts many events organized by and for the local community. You can see a list of scheduled events in our Events Calendar. Unless otherwise noted, events in the calendar are free and open to the public.

The Space

You'll find co.up nestled on the third floor of a classic Berlin factory building located directly next to Kottbusser Tor. The main lounge area is 155sqm and there is a side meeting room included in the space. It can be used for workshops, offsites, team retreats, and other functions.

The space includes a projector, tables chairs, high-speed wifi, and drinks available for purchase. Please visit our space rental page to find more details.

How to find us

A map indicating how to access co.up from the entrance on Adalbertstrasse 5 and 6 in Kreuzberg.

Due to construction, the space is currently only accessible via the temporary walkway located at Adalbertstr. 5-6 (next to the Kreuzberg Merkezi building). Take the walkway and head under the first overpass, then left under the second overpass and past the bike rack until you see the door of our building across from the mailboxes. Buzz at "co.up" and walk up to the 3d floor.

If you are attending an evening/weekend event, the gate to the walkway may be locked -- in this case, get in touch with your event organizer!

If you need to use the elevator, please let your organizers know in advance as there is an elevator key in the space. We're very sorry to say our bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible, but there are some accessible bathrooms nearby, including at the Wilhelm Liebknecht/Namik Kemal Bibliothek, Möbel Olfe, and Südblock.

Our History: Kickstarting Coworking in Berlin

co.up opened for coworking in 2009, back when coworking was almost completely unheard of. How times have changed! After an illustrious run, the space turned into a full-time event space in the autumn of 2017 as the owners and management shifted their focus toward their software, Cobot.

As of November 2021, co.up is under new ownership and is once again offering coworking! Supporting the community remains our top priority; our mission has always been to support representation and accessibility in tech. If you want to help us continue our mission, please visit our support page.
